New planters funded through a local community chest have been put in place throughout Farringdon and East Herrington
Secured through the efforts of local councillors, the new flower boxes were photographed yesterday around the area by the Farringdon Youth and Community Centre.
Credit was also given to Sunderland Council environmental services for the effort.
